Q.How does Crampt work?

A.We declutter your life and take all the hassle out of storing your stuff. We pick up, store and deliver your stuff when you need it. All of your items are bar coded, photographed and managed in your online account, where you can schedule pickups, deliveries and manage your account information. You never have to visit a storage facility again!

Q.Can I change or cancel my reservation?

A.You can change or cancel your reservation by logging into your account or visiting our contact us section on the website.
We ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours notice, should you need to change or cancel you reservation. If you cancel or change your reservation within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged a $100 service fee. In the event you do not return the plastic Crampt Crates, the charge is $20 per conatiner.

Q.How much time do I have to pack up my belongings after I receive my Crampt Crates?

A.We will give you two weeks to schedule a pick-up after we drop off your boxes. Don't want to pack? Hire a personal packer or two for just $39/hour/person.

Q.How quickly can I have access to my items in storage?

A.Normal delivery times are between 24-48 hours from time of request, but if you need quicker service we can easily accommodate an expedited delivery for an additional fee of $20.

Storing with us

Q.How many Crampt Crates do I need?

A.Depending on your storage size and items, we'll recommend how many Crampt Crates you need. If you order too many, we will take them back at no charge to you. The Crates are cleaned and sanitized before and after every use.

Q.How will I know if my Containers are secured?

A.We deliver tamper proof zip ties with your containers when we drop them off. Once you are finished packing, you will secure each of your containers. Each tie has a unique ID and you can record that number with your items inventory in your account. Crampt will never open your containers without your express permission unless we are required to for legal reasons.

Q.What if I don’t know how many Crampt Crates I need?

A.We only charge you for the Crampt Crates you use. You can order as many Crampt Crates you think you need and if you order too many we will take them back at no charge to you.

Q.How secure is your facility?

A.For security reasons, our warehouse is not open to the public but please contact us if you have a unique situation. We store all items in our state-of-the-art secured storage facilities. The facilities are all climate controlled, monitored 24/7, pest free and equipped with the latest in fire-prevention and sprinkler systems.

Q.Are there any items you won't store?

A.We can store it as long as two people can move it and it doesn’t violate our storage policies. We store things like furniture, bicycles, skis, luggage, golf clubs, moving boxes, etc. We don’t store drugs, food or perishables, guns, explosives, flammables, plants, animals or hazardous items.

Q.Is my stuff protected?

A.Yes, all of our storage plans include coverage up to $.60 per pound at no charge. You can also purchase extra protection plan options up to $1000 ($15 per month) or $2500 ($25 per month).

Fees and Billing

Q.How much does it cost?

A.Pricing for pick-ups and deliveries are $39/hour per person with a one hour minimum. Single item pick-up and delivery is $20. Prices may increase for large single items requiring more than one person.

Q.What is the minimum storage term?

A.We have a 6 month storage minimum per space plan, but you can get your stuff back whenever you want. If you need an item back before the six months are up, we’ll just charge you for the remaining time.

Q.What are your delivery and pickup hours?

A.Our delivery time slots are open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, except on public holidays. During the peak season we often extend delivery hours to accommodate the surge in demand. Appointments need to be made 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability.

Q.If I have my things returned in the middle of my billing cycle, do I have to pay for the entire month?

A.We do not prorate months for storage. If you have your lot delivered out of storage before the next billing cycle you will not be charged for the following month (after your 6 month minimum storage term).

Q.What happens to my belongings if I am late making a payment?

A.If you know in advance that you may be late making a payment for any reason, please contact us so that we can work with you. If you don't reach out to us, you will be charged a penalty fee for late or missed payments. In extreme cases, if you have not paid we may not return your belongings or take further action until your account balance is settled.

Q.What forms of payment do you accept?

A.We accept all major credit cards as payment. You will have to provide your credit card information at the time you place your order. Your account will then be automatically charged on a monthly basis.
